Slow and Steady wins the race...

Ecclesiastes 9:11

There's an event being held with various stages and two of those stages consists of a race, and a hand to hand battle...

The "swift man" that's running the race has full knowledge of his speed, and will begin pushing and shoving the slower contestants out of his way.  Midway through the race the swift man was seen going out of bounds to advance his position in the race, which is an infraction of the rules.  Once he finished the various stages and crossed the finish line, as the unofficial winner, his list of infractions were read and it was determined that he'd been disqualified.

Then there's the "strong man" who's constantly displaying his physical strength and power and will use his massive size to intimidate a majority of the participants; causing them to drop out of the "battle stage" of the event.  All but one!  At the end of the event the "strong man's" tactics had been made known, and he too was disqualified...

But there was one man that kept the pace regardless of being shoved in the back by the fast runner, and intimidated by the strong man during the battle stage, allowing him to stay on pace and finish the entire event.  That "man", when he got to the end of the race, realized that there was no one finishing with him. He thought that he had finished in last place; only to find out that because he endured the obstacles of the race, and through his perseverance, and determination, that "man" crossed the finish line, and to his surprise, was declared the winner, because he didn't give up or buckle under pressure.

Stay the course, don't give up... "Slow and Steady wins the race..."
